Residents - Welcome to Ontario’s Anesthesiologists

Congratulations on your acceptance into an Ontario Anesthesiology training program! We believe you have chosen a rewarding specialty program and have a very bright future ahead of you.

Ontario’s Anesthesiologists, a Section of the Ontario Medical Association, represents over 1,500 practicing anesthesiologists in the province of Ontario. As a member of our Section, you have the opportunity to participate in leadership development opportunities, our annual Transition-to-Practice event and our annual Ontario Anesthesia Meeting.

Transition-to-Practice Virtual Event

The annual Transition-to-Practice event helps residents and fellows build expertise in leadership, understanding finances, and policy advocacy. With the support of the Section, this free event is coordinated by Ontario’s Anesthesiologists’ resident representatives and aims to help prepare trainees for the transition from training to practice. Ontario anesthesia residents and fellows are invited to join us for this year’s Transition-to-Practice event on Friday, November 8 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
