Leadership Development
Ontario’s Anesthesiologists aspires to promote and support the development of visible, influential, and inspiring anesthesia leaders within the Ontario health system. We believe that by increasing the number of anesthesiologists in leadership positions, we will raise awareness of our value in the health system, champion equity and diversity and expand upon our capacity to influence decisions that optimize patient care.
To reach those goals, we’ve launched several initiatives including our grant program for funding leadership training, our annual leadership development day, and webinars such as our Health System Fundamentals for the Anesthesiologists course. We’ve also assembled an online collection of leadership-focused resources, programs, conferences and more to encourage and support our members in their leadership journey.
Our Leadership Development Working Group played a crucial role in developing many of these initiatives. While this group’s work has wound down, we are very grateful for their enthusiasm and dedication!
